1. Audio Engineer
The audio engineer is responsible for the set-up, monitoring and adjusting of all Worship Center audio equipment. The audio engineer focuses attention and removes distractions by crafting a professional mix and making seamless audio transitions to allow the gospel to be heard through singing songs unto the Lord and hearing the Word taught (Col. 3:16; Eph. 5:19).
2. Camera Operator
The camera operator captures stage-wide to close-up shots of the announcements and teaching pastor while controlling and monitoring focus, shot composition and movement (with direction from the Technical Director) so that the speaker can be seen without distraction to the gospel that is being proclaimed (Eph. 4:12).
3. Production Team
If you want to help produce or generate what the people of Quest might hear or see, both online and at our Church, come join the Production Team. We help produce a weekend experience, program lights, mix audio, direct cameras, and keep all the technical aspects of Quest up and running.
Production volunteers help deliver an excellent, distraction-free service environment. If you’re creative, intuitive, hard-working, and have a passion for visual excellence and details, working behind the scenes with Production might be your next step. There are spots to volunteer at every gathering, or our morning or afternoon gatherings only.
4. Creative Media Team
This ministry exits to bring each person into a deeper, more meaningful worship experience through the utilization of every creative means of expression that speaks to the eye, the ear, the heart and ultimately the soul.
Every month, Quest Creative Media Team produces a ton of media for audience imaginable. We’re looking for talented, hard-working, proactive volunteers who are into animation, film, audio, graphic design, production, or planning and logistics. Volunteer hours are flexible.
The Media Ministry of Quest strives to enhance the impact of the services of our church through sight and sound.
5. Information Technology (IT)
Are you keen on details? Are you tech-savvy and trained in the art of finding great solutions? Do you want to serve from anywhere that has a strong internet connection? You might be a great fit to volunteer on the Life. Church IT Team! We’re seeking people who are passionate about technology and working on a team to deliver resources with excellence. Serve from anywhere, any time!
A lot of churches utilize slides during worship services. Are there additional tech roles that volunteers can be trained to do? Pressing cues for lights, slides, and videos is pretty easy skill to teach to a volunteer, yet is very crucial to the techincal elements of the service running smoothly.
