Worship at Quest is more than music, more than a gathering, more than brief moments together in a service. Worship is a lifestyle that is lived out in spirit and truth with every opportunity presented.Worship is offering all that I know of me to all that I know of Him. It reveals the inner heart and the recognized value that we place upon God in our lives. Worship is more than just something we do. It is an attitude that we carry with us day by day, an attitude of genuine praise to God. It is fueled by corporate worship, the times we gather together.
Who We Are
Our Worship Team is a contemporary Team that leads our worship with songs to reflect our love for God. We look for God’s love in our lives as the evidence that we have been truly worshipping Him. We celebrate together with high-energy music. We were created to glorify God and live with passion, freedom, and authenticity. We believe this happens as we worship God in spirit and truth. The Worship Team seeks to lead our people in loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, through the creative gifts God has given His church.
The Worship Team Ministry of Quest exists to help people connect to God through worship. We seek to glorify the Lord by presenting a pleasing offering to Him with the highest level of excellence possible. We strive to encourage and equip those who have been called by God to the Worship Team Ministry through spiritual and technical growth. Through worship, we share the truth of Jesus Christ and humbly serve Him by leading others into His holy presence.
Expect Passionate and Upbeat worship at Quest.
We're contemporary, it'll be upbeat and probably louder than you expected. You'll hear a few worship songs during the service and even maybe a cover tune so feel free to sing along or participate however you feel most comfortable. Lyrics will be on the screens.
Why We Do It
We believe that we were created to Worship. As a Church we recognize that Worship isn't only an important piece of our Sunday Morning Service, but it is also a part of our everyday lives. We want to surrender our every moment to God allowing Him to work through us. We love being able to kick start our week leading Worship through song, reading of the Word and prayer as we respond to the grace and the truth of Jesus Christ.
The Importance of Worship
Worship is about honoring and pleasing God, Worship is the act of showing respect and love for God. Worship is obeying God and giving excessive admiration to him. We at Quest believe the worship is an integral part of our life to together in Christ. We gather to praise God through music, scripture, spoken word, visual arts and prayer.
At Quest our focus is to lead people in vertical worship that blesses God, with the understanding that worship is not about the worshippers (those who are worshipping), but about the Worshipee (the one who is being worshipped). Our Worship Gathering meets in the Sanctuary and sing a mix of worship songs & current music from various artists such as Elevation Worship, William McDowell, William Murphy and Tasha Cobbs.
Worship is what we were created For?
Worshipping God is the most important action within the life of a believer and, collectively, the church. As an individual, worship is a way of life that should occur throughout the week giving glory to God through all that we do and say. Corporate worship occurs when believers gather together to focus their praise, prayers and hearts upon God. This often happens through the singing of hymns, Psalms and spiritual songs, as well as the reading of God’s word, prayer and times of teaching. As part of the worship team you help people refocus their hearts from the cares and busyness of the world back to the proper focus in life, which is God. Through music, you help them connect emotionally to words that seek out God’s heart when they are burdened, or lift up praise to God when they are full of joy. Through prayers, you help people connect to our loving God who wants to hear our prayers, move on our behalf and bless us. Through scripture readings, you root people to the word of God which forms the foundation of how we live and how we learn about God. This ministry is very important to the life of our church as a congregation and also to the lives of individual Christ-followers.
At Quest, there was a line drawn in the sand where we said, "This is why we’re alive, this is our supreme responsibility, our great God-given opportunity to be those who minister to the Lord."
Corporate Worship
We encourage and welcome families to worship together during our services. There is a great, long-term benefit to children and students gathering with the church as a whole for worship. There, they observe their parent(s) and others singing praise to God and soaking up His Word.
Our worship services are a Blended Worship service that combines elements of both traditional worship and contemporary praise worship. Each service will have a variety of worship elements and music styles that relate to the scripture lesson of each Sunday. On most Sundays the order of worship for the two services will be similar. The Worship Services continue to evolve in order to meet the needs and desires of the families it draws.The style of music is an energetic and lively blend of praise songs and traditional hymns. A wonderful choir and special song selections by invited guests and church members bring God’s message through music. A praise team helps us get into the music.

If you are interested in being a part of the Worship Ministry we have several opportunities you can serve in: We have behind the scenes crew: Sound Tech, Light Tech and Computer Tech. We have the upfront crew: Guitarist, Bassist, Vocalist, Drummers, and Keyboard Players.
