Here's what you can expect during Sunday Service at Quest Church (QC):
What to Expect
Visiting a new church for the first time can sometimes be daunting, but we want your experience at Quest Church to be a good one. On arrival, you will be immediately welcomed by one of our friendly greeters. They will be more than happy to help you with anything you might need, such as signing your child into Kids Church, grabbing a cup of coffee, or helping you find the restroom. Once inside, you will notice the age range in our congregation, you'll see a lot of older people and a lot of young adults. We really are a family church, one we hope you will feel apart of very quickly.
We get real excited during our services about two things: Seeing God do big things in the lives of people and having company. We are exciting, contemporary ministry that ministries to all ages and backgrounds, but especially to families, singles and students. We really like coming together; it’s highlight of our week, so as part of our worship experience, about once a month we share in communion by taking time out to greet and get to know new people.
Our service lasts a little over an hour and begins with inspiring worship music. During that time, please feel free to stand or sit, lift your hands in worship or simply be still. How you worship is up to you. God is seeking true worship, so sincerity of heart is what matters.
A contemporary Praise Team leads our worship, with songs to reflect our love for God. Each week, we share a practical message from the Bible to help you grow in your relationship with God and live life in a way that pleases Him. Our preaching aims to communicate the timeless truths of the Bible in a relevant and practical way. During the service, we will receive financial gifts as a part of our worship. Please feel no pressure to give. Only give if you desire to do so. Just enjoy the service and receive what God has for you.
We would love you to join us at one of our services. There is no dress code whatsoever, some people like to dress up, and others prefer to come a little more casual. We just want you to come as you are.
Upon entering the building, you're sure to be welcomed by one of our Friendly Greeters. Our worship takes place in the main sanctuary. Tagged ushers will be stationed throughout the building to assist you in anyway, including finding a seat.
Our members are a diverse group of people. We’re not focused on race, financial or social status, or background. Our interest is in bringing people into a closer relationship with God. So, no matter what your background, class, financial status, education, or any other demographic, you are welcome here.
You can come as you are. We don't have a dress code. Our focus is on Christ. Most of our attendees dress casual, Some like to dress up. Whatever you choose, you'll fit right in. You might even spot a Cavs Jersey or two on a gameday. Get ready for some very opinionated sports enthusiasts if you decide to pick a team, though. We just want you to come as you are. We’re much more interested in the type of person you are on the inside than what you like on the outside. We’d like to meet the real you. We want you to be comfortable. All we ask is that everyone dress modestly.
Where Should I Go When I Arrive?
