Quest Youth ministry is a time for youth students to experience a fun and accepting environment. The goal of the Youth Ministry is to teach and bring students closer to Christ. We apply Bible teachings to everyday life through fellowship events and fun activities, such as, Kick-Back with the Pastor, outreach and annual Lock-Ins events. We as a team an awesome group of trained staff members and youth volunteers want to create an atmosphere of worship and joy while empowering and teaching students how to lead a life built on their relationship with Jesus. Our youth students
participate in praise and worship, music, dance, age-appropriate/interactive Bible study, arts, and crafts. Quest Youth ministry focuses on the uniqueness of the youth, providing a holistic approach to minister through interactive, relational Bible studies, age-appropriate activities and fellowships.
DV8 Middle School (Grades 7th-8th)
6th -8th graders meet every Sunday morning for DV8. This is a time of worship, announcements, teaching, and small group discussions. DV8 Exists to bring Middle School students into a saving knowledge of Christ, train them in life of discipleship, and equip them to serve both God and man. (Matt. 28:19-20) To be more like Christ, students are encouraged not to conform but rather to “deviate” from the norm. (Rom. 12:2) We aim to shatter the stereotype that church is boring and the Bible is irrelevant. DV8 IS Exciting. Biblical lessons are creative and applicable to students’ everyday life. Here relationships are established and community is experienced. Plain and simple, DV8 is the place to be for students that love to hang out, make new friends, laugh a lot, and explore the Bible in a fun and laid-back environment.
Students will enjoy games, an alternate teaching series, discussion groups lead by adults and high school leaders, and opportunities to experience life more intimately with their peers. Mid-week teaching series topics are determined by the current spiritual and life needs of our students. Topics are chosen as a youth ministry team, and particularly challenging topics are communicated with parents first.
2:52 High School (Grades 9th-12th)
Who is 2:52? 2:52 is the high school ministry at Quest! We meet for high energy worship where high school students experience solid biblical teaching that is relevant and gives them guidance to live bold and courageous lives. The event is always unique and unpredictable. Like Jesus in Luke 2:52 we are striving to “grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
Students will be challenged to investigate their ideas and feelings deeper with one another and adult leaders through teaching, service activities, and fellowship activities. Mid-week teaching series topics are determined by the current spiritual and life needs of our students. When We Meet
Throughout the year, we have regular events to help parents and children grow in their love for the Lord.
We encourage and welcome families to worship together during our services. There is a great, long-term benefit to children and students gathering with the church as a whole for worship. There, they observe their parent(s) and others singing praise to God and soaking up His Word.
