GIVING
Giving is something that we do in obedience to Jesus Christ. When we give, it acknowledges God as the giver of everything we have, reflects our trust that He will continue to provide for us, and allows us to be a part of His work here on earth. It’s something we do with joy.
At Quest Church we are focused on one goal: changing lives…one person at a time. The simple fact, is that the church cannot do this without financial resources. God has directed that each church is to be funded by the tithes and offerings of those who are a part of that local church. Simply put: our giving makes an eternal difference.
In Malachi 3:10 Jesus says, "Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need."
In Luke 6:38, Jesus says, Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over..." In 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 says, Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously..."
AREAS TO GIVE
Tithes
Tithing is bringing the first 10 percent of our income back to God. It’s a way to worship God by showing Him that we trust His promises. It’s also a way to protect our hearts from greed. By bringing back to God what is rightfully His, we remind ourselves that everything we have comes from Him.
Offerings
Offerings are any gifts we give over and above the tithe. As we understand how generous God is to us, we’ll find ourselves wanting to be more and more generous toward Him.
General Fund
This fund includes all undesignated gifts from our weekly tithes and offerings and is used to support the ministry of the church.
Building Fund
Used to directly assist those who are experiencing financial hardship.
Benevolence Fund
Used for major improvements and repairs on our grounds and facility.
Pastor Love Offering
This fund is a simple way to say, "Thank you to our Pastor. (Money is an o.k. gift...it allows Pastor to purchase whatever she may need or want.)
Quest Outreach Ministry
Used for Class Act Charity Awareness Outreach.
HOW TO GIVE
In-House Giving
If you prefer not to give online and would much rather give in person, we of course, would be glad to have you visit or join with us during one of our Sunday Morning Services that are held each and every week at 12:30pm and simply place your donation in one of the offering baskets during the course of the worship service.
You can give online using Cash App. Mobile Giving is a convenient secure way to give your tithes or any other type of donation that you desire to give. The system allows you to designate what type of contribution you are giving plus you will receive a private email stating that your contribution has been received.
