Doctrine of God

LEADER: Do you believe that there is one God eternally existing as one essence and three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, each of whom is fully God?

MEMBERS: We believe.

 

Doctrine of Revelation

LEADER : Has God made Himself known to the world in Jesus Christ, the Scriptures and creation?

MEMBERS: He has.

 

Doctrine of Creation and Providence

LEADER: Did God create the world from nothing?

MEMBERS: He did.

LEADER: Does He govern all things at all times in all places?

MEMBERS: He does.

Doctrine of Humanity
LEADER: Do all humans bear the image of God and possess intrinsic dignity and worth?

MEMBERS: We do.

 

Doctrine of Sin
LEADER: Has sin fractured all things, leaving the world in desperate need for salvation?

MEMBERS: It has.

 

Doctrine of Salvation

LEADER: Is salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone?

MEMBERS: It is.

 

Doctrine of the Church
LEADER: Is the Church the body of Christ, sent into the world to shine forth the glory of God?

MEMBERS: We are.

 

Doctrine of Resurrection and Consummation of the Kingdom of God

LEADER : Will Jesus Christ return to the world to judge the living and the dead?

MEMBERS: He will.

Obligations of Elders to Quest Church

LEADER: Elders, do you commit to lead and care for this church through prayer, teaching and counsel, in order to protect and equip this local body for the work of ministry?

ELDERS: We do.

Obligations of Members to One Another

LEADER: Church, will you lovingly encourage and empower our brothers and sisters in these tasks?

MEMBERS: We will.
