MEMBER CARE

Member Care is the ministry at Quest that provides direct care for our members. This area is overseen by the Care Team, along with the assistance of the church's Elders. Browse below for more information on the care that this ministry provides. Please let us know how we can serve you.

CRISIS TOUCH 

A crisis touch occurs when you experience an emergent need, such as:

1. Food Bank

We partner with The Greater Cleveland Food Bank by collecting and donating cans annually.  

2. Emergency Clothing 

Offer clothing to those in an emergency need.

3. Benevolence

Helps meet basic financial needs in time of crisis or transition.

4. Hospitalization

Provide prayer, support, and visitation to those who are hospitalized.

5. Funerals 

Officiate and assist at funerals and comfort families who have lost a loved one. 

6. Incarceration

We offer our members moral support while in prison, jail, on probation, or on parole. 

7. Bereavement

Follow-up after funeral services with one-on-one care for up to a year following the loss.

8. Counseling 

Provide individual and family counseling, and support by assisting members in areas of living.  

 

LIFE TOUCH 

A Life Touch may occur at various times during your membership and will include times of general contact or celebrations such as: 

1. Baby Dedications 

A Christian ceremony that dedicates the infant to God , welcomes the baby (4 mos. to 2 yrs.) into the church, and the parents dedicate themselves to raising the child as a Christian.

2. Child Blessing

A ceremony when parents present children (2 yrs.-11 yrs.)to the Lord in order to receive His blessing on them. It is an act of thanksgiving and recognition that God is not only the author of life, but his blessing is supremely important for a success.

3. Baptism

The water immersion as an outward display of an inner transformation signifying one's death to sin and newness in Jesus Christ.

4. Graduations 

The celebration and encouragement for graduates and their next step in life.

5. Weddings 

Pre and post marriage counseling, and the officiating of wedding ceremonies.

6. Anniversaries

A recognition and celebration for married members celebrating one of the "fives." 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th 50th etc. anniversary.

7. New Members Celebration Ceremony

A celebration that embraces and is designed to welcome all new members to our church family with a certificate of completion.

SOCIAL TOUCH 

A Social Touch occurs while sharing life, as a community with others of similar characteristics to stimulate growth, development, and wellness.
